    Approach to Therapy

    Stacey has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling, 2009. She has advanced training in Accelerated Experiential Psychotherapy, AEDP, an emotion-focused, relational and healing-oriented approach. Her experience includes facilitating groups, speaking at trainings, providing clinical supervision in college settings and counseling college students. 

    In her approach, she enjoys helping her clients to connect to their core emotions which are God-given and adaptive. She also helps to bring relief to difficult emotions and negative beliefs  about self that stem from relational trauma. Stacey seeks to build safety and connection which are essential for processing difficult life experiences. 

    Stacey was born and raised in New York. She is a member  of a large multiracial church and traces much of her spiritual foundation to the Chinese American Christian community in NYCS. Stacey delights in helping others to grow in their faith.
